Frequently Asked Questions

What's included in the booklet?

90 unique maps across 5 courses (18 holes each), plus the full rulebook and scoring system. All you need to bring is a pen.

How long does one round take?

One hole takes about 2–5 minutes, so a full 18-hole course runs roughly 45–90 minutes — great for a quick game or a longer session.

Can I play alone?

Yes — Brain Golfing works great solo or with others. There's no minimum player count.

What languages is it available in?

The booklet includes full rules in both English and German.

Which countries do you ship to?

For now, we ship within Germany only — shipping is free and already included in the price. We're deliberately starting simple as we launch; shipping to more countries (including the rest of the EU) is planned as things grow. Want to know when that happens? Email malte@happypastimes.com and we'll let you know. See the delivery time note on the order page for details.

What if I want to return my order?

As an EU consumer you have the legal right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days. Full details are in our Right of Withdrawal Policy.

Is there a digital version?

Not currently — Brain Golfing is designed as an analog, pen-and-paper experience. You can try a free print-and-play demo of the first two holes from the homepage.

Can I buy multiple copies, or as a gift?

Brain Golfing makes a great gift for game night. For bulk or gift orders, reach out to malte@happypastimes.com.

How is Brain Golfing different from Paper Apps Golf?

Paper Apps Golf was part of what inspired the pocket-booklet format, but the games play differently: Brain Golfing uses hand-designed hex maps (not randomly generated) with a calculated par per map, plus 5 power-ups you can use sparingly (max 2 per game, 1 per stroke) and extra tile types like wind and portals.
